FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR PAs WHO MAY ASSESSMENT AND/OR TREATMENT FOR SUBSTANCE USE DISORDERS.

Kober Treatment Grants
Managed by the NCAPA Endowment, this fund was established in 1998 by NCAPA’s then-president, Charlie Kober. This fund is specifically for impaired PAs. The PA Liaison to NCPHP will make recommendations to the NCAPA Endowment for these grants when financial need is identified.
NCPHP Treatment Scholarships
Managed by the NC Medical Society Foundation, these scholarships are available to help financially challenged practitioners gain entry to a treatment facility when sufficient funds might not otherwise be available. Information and applications are available online at http://www.ncphp.org/scholarships/
Donations to support these funds are needed and appreciated.
